Gate 40, Aloneness

Known as Aloneness, Gate 40's hexagram theme is Deliverance. This gate moves along a spectrum from the raw pull of Deliverance toward the more grounded, everyday quality of Self-Reliance, culminating (rarely, and only with real awareness) in Willpower.
