Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ascendant Chart (the "Service"), operated at ascendantchart.com. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Ascendant Chart is a personalized astrology and self-discovery platform combining natal astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, and other systems into one profile, with AI chat guidance. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, with reasonable notice where practical.

Accounts & Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@ascendantchart.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly allow children to create accounts.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service's integrity or performance; (d) reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except where permitted by law; or (e) use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

Your Content & Data Ownership

You retain ownership of any content, records, or data you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe on the rights of others. We are not responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and do not review it before it is processed.

Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Fees, billing frequency, and plan features are described at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your full payment card details.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically for successive billing periods until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying software, is owned by Ascendant Chart or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, branding, or trademarks without prior written permission.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and integrations (for example, authentication, hosting, and email delivery providers) to operate. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services outside our control.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting support@ascendantchart.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (such as posting an updated effective date or emailing account holders). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
