Gate 44, Alertness

Known as Alertness, Gate 44's hexagram theme is Coming to Meet. This gate moves along a spectrum from the raw pull of Coming to Meet toward the more grounded, everyday quality of Instinct, culminating (rarely, and only with real awareness) in Pattern Recognition.
