Mercury conjunct Saturn

Saturn on Mercury slows the mind and makes it accurate. These people think before speaking, distrust anything that sounds too easy, and build knowledge in the order it needs to be built. Their word is good and their estimates are realistic. The cost is a running commentary of self-doubt: work is finished late because it was never quite ready, and speaking up in a group takes an effort nobody else can see. Early schooling was often discouraging. What the aspect produces over time is genuine expertise, since it is constitutionally unable to fake understanding.
