Neptune square or opposite Pluto

A square or opposition between Neptune and Pluto does not occur in modern charts. The two bodies have held a long sextile through the twentieth and twenty first centuries, and their cycle is slow enough that hard aspects between them belong to eras centuries away in either direction. The entry exists so the gap is visible rather than assumed to be an omission. Where such a configuration appears in a historical chart it is read as a description of the age, through houses and contacts to personal points, and never as temperament.
