Sun square or opposite Saturn
Identity under constant resistance, where progress is slow, doubt is chronic, and persistence is everything.
Will meets an obstacle that is felt as internal. These people work hard and doubt the work, and confidence arrives late if it arrives at all. Fathers and bosses feature heavily, usually as people who withheld approval rather than as people who caused harm. Progress is slower than the effort deserves, and the discouragement is the main risk, since the aspect rewards persistence and punishes nothing else. Those who keep going tend to end up unusually capable, because everything they have was built under resistance. Those who stop early read the delay as a verdict.
