Sun conjunct Saturn

Saturn on the Sun puts a weight on the identity from the beginning. These people are serious early, take responsibility before it is offered, and measure themselves against a standard nobody else can see. Authority is a lifelong theme, often through a father who was demanding, absent or diminished. Achievement is usually real and usually late. The cost is joylessness and a recurring sense of not being enough, which the achievement does not cure. What the aspect reliably builds is endurance: a person who has worked without much encouragement for a long time is difficult to stop.
