Uranus and Pluto meet only every one hundred thirty years or so, most recently in the mid nineteen sixties, so the conjunction identifies a generation and takes personal meaning from house placement and from contacts to personal planets. Disruption joins compulsion: the impulse is to tear a structure down completely rather than to amend it. Charts carrying it closely often show an unusual tolerance for upheaval and a low threshold for anything that smells of imposed authority. The cost is that demolition becomes a reflex, applied to situations that only needed repair.
