Heavy Modality

A heavy modality appears when five or more planets share a single mode of action: Cardinal, Fixed, or Mutable running most of the chart at once. A Cardinal-heavy chart tends to run on initiation and starting things; Fixed-heavy runs on sustaining and holding a course; Mutable-heavy runs on adaptation and shifting with circumstance. Whichever mode dominates tends to become the chart's default approach to nearly everything, not just a recurring theme.
