Out-of-Bounds Planet

Out-of-Bounds Planet

A planet is out-of-bounds when its declination (its distance north or south of the celestial equator) exceeds the Sun's maximum range for that year, meaning it's traveled somewhere the Sun itself never goes. Traditionally read as a planet operating outside the normal rules: its themes show up less filtered by convention, for better or worse, since it's quite literally off the map the rest of the chart is measured against.
