Tight Opposition

A tight opposition is a standard 180° opposition sitting unusually close to exact: within a degree or two rather than spread across the full orb. The closer the two planets sit to that exact angle, the less room there is to look away from the tension between them: this is a push-pull in the foreground, one that shows up directly and repeatedly, in ways that eventually force some kind of integration rather than letting either side simply win.
