Unaspected Planet

An unaspected planet makes no major aspect (conjunction, opposition, trine, square, or sextile) to any other planet in the chart. Without another placement pulling it into dialogue, that planet tends to operate on its own logic, unmoderated by the checks and balances the rest of the chart provides for everything else: its themes can show up more purely, and sometimes more erratically, than a planet embedded in a web of aspects.
