Northern Hemisphere Emphasis

The northern hemisphere is the lower half of the chart, houses one through six, below the horizon. A majority of planets there traditionally suggests a life lived more privately, with the significant work happening in personal rather than public settings and development running from the inside outward. Charts weighted this way often take on a public role later, if at all. The division is made by the horizon axis, which moves steadily with the clock, so an accurate birth time is required before any hemisphere weighting can be trusted.
