Western Hemisphere Emphasis

The western hemisphere holds houses four through nine, the side containing the Descendant. A majority of planets there traditionally suggests a life shaped in response to other people and to circumstance, where opportunity arrives through relationships more often than through solitary effort. This describes where the action tends to come from, and it should not be read as passivity. Like every hemisphere reading it depends on the house cusps and therefore on an accurate birth time. It works better as context for the rest of the chart than as a conclusion on its own.
