Fixed Mode

Fixed signs hold the middle of each season: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. They sustain, consolidate and defend, and their strength is staying with something long after the novelty has worn off. A chart weighted in fixed signs shows persistence, loyalty and a settled set of opinions, along with real difficulty changing course once committed. A chart light in fixed signs adapts easily and may struggle to finish, or to keep a habit past the point where it stops being interesting. Mode is read from the signs the planets occupy, not from the houses.
