Mutable Mode

Mutable signs end each season: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. They adjust, distribute and prepare the ground for whatever comes next. A chart weighted in mutable signs is flexible, responsive and comfortable handling several things at once, and it can shift position often enough that others find it hard to rely on. A chart light in mutable signs tends to hold a course well and finds revision or compromise costly. A heavy mode is clearest when it includes the Sun, Moon or Ascendant, so weight those three above the rest.
