Pluto in the 10th house

The 10th house is career, standing and public role. Pluto here wants real influence rather than the appearance of it. Research, medicine, finance, politics and anything requiring an appetite for what others avoid suit the placement, and the working life usually contains at least one complete reinvention. Since the 10th house cusp depends on the birth time, a planet this close to it needs an accurate one. The cost is power pursued at the expense of everything private, and public falls as steep as the climb.
