Pluto in the 12th house

The 12th house covers solitude, retreat and the unconscious. Pluto here works underground. Powerful material sits below the surface, often inherited and unspoken, and these people frequently sense what a room is hiding. Solitude is where the real processing happens, and therapeutic, investigative or institutional work suits the placement. The cost is a private intensity with no outlet: fears that never get voiced, and a strength that stays unavailable until it is brought into the open.
