Pluto in the 4th house

The 4th house covers home, roots and private life. Pluto here digs into the foundation. Family history carries something buried, often a secret, a loss or a power struggle running across generations, and these people frequently end up doing the work of uncovering it. Homes get gutted and rebuilt, literally and otherwise. The cost is a private life run on control, difficulty letting anyone fully into the house, and a past that has to be examined before it stops operating.
