Saturn in the 9th house

The 9th house rules long travel, higher study, belief and law. Saturn here tests a belief before adopting it. Study is formal, slow and thorough, qualifications matter, and many teach later in life with real authority. Travel is purposeful rather than casual. The cost is a conviction so carefully constructed that it resists revision, and a skepticism that can leave these people standing on nothing at all while they wait for proof that is not coming.
