Sun in the 12th house
The Sun in the 12th house finds identity in solitude, reflection and work behind the scenes.
The 12th house covers what is hidden: solitude, retreat, institutions such as hospitals or monasteries, and the unconscious. The Sun here often prefers working out of the spotlight, and may need regular time alone to recharge. These people can be deeply compassionate and drawn to spiritual or charitable work. Their strength is often recognized later, or by fewer people, than it deserves.
