Uranus in the 12th house

The 12th house covers solitude, retreat and the unconscious. Uranus here is unsettled below the surface. Insight arrives suddenly and without a traceable route, and these people often work privately on something well ahead of its acceptance. Solitude is needed in unpredictable amounts. The cost is a nervous restlessness with no obvious object: trouble sleeping, an independence never quite explained to anyone, and a break from a situation that surprises everyone except them.
