Mercury in Aquarius

Aquarius is fixed air, ruled traditionally by Saturn and in modern astrology by Uranus. Mercury here thinks in systems and patterns rather than particulars, and it is drawn to whatever the consensus has overlooked. These people are inventive, objective and unbothered by being the only one who holds a view. The cost is the fixed quality: an unconventional opinion becomes as rigid as the convention it replaced, and a purely logical read of a human situation misses what the people inside it actually feel.
