Mercury in Pisces

Pisces is mutable water, ruled traditionally by Jupiter and in modern astrology by Neptune, and Mercury is in both its detriment and its fall here. Thinking is associative and visual, and it resists being pinned into sequence. These people absorb far more than they can account for, which shows up as good instinct and poor recall of the specifics. Imagery, music and metaphor carry meaning better for them than a list does. The cost is precision: instructions blur, facts are remembered approximately, and a vague answer is sometimes offered to avoid an unwelcome exact one.
