Mercury in Taurus

Taurus is fixed earth ruled by Venus, and Mercury slows to that pace. These people think in concrete terms: what it costs, how it feels, whether it will hold. They take longer to reach an opinion and are hard to move once they have one. Speech tends to be unhurried and deliberate, and their word is usually good. The difficulty is flexibility, since new information that contradicts a settled view is often ignored rather than argued with. Practical subjects and anything worked with the hands come easily to this Mercury.
