Neptune in Aries

Neptune spends about fourteen years in a sign, so it describes a generation rather than an individual, and the house it occupies is what makes it personal. In Aries, cardinal fire ruled by Mars, the ideal attaches to action and to the heroic: this generation is inspired by the pioneer and the crusade, and spends itself on causes as readily as on its own plans. The cost is illusion about strength, since enthusiasm gets mistaken for a plan and the fight itself becomes the thing believed in.
