Neptune in Capricorn

Capricorn is cardinal earth ruled by Saturn, and Neptune takes about fourteen years to cross it, marking a generation. Here the ideal attaches to structure: this generation wants its institutions, its work and its ambitions to mean something, and it is disillusioned when they do not. Spirituality, when it works, is practical and disciplined. The cost is cynicism, since faith in a system dissolves once the system is seen clearly, and responsibility can be carried as a kind of penance.
