Saturn in Aries

Saturn describes limit, discipline and the area where confidence has to be earned. Aries is cardinal fire ruled by Mars, and Saturn is in its fall here: the sign moves on impulse where Saturn requires restraint. Self-assertion is the difficulty, either held back until resentment collects or forced out harder than the situation called for. These people tend to learn courage slowly and on purpose, and once learned it is dependable. Anger is uncomfortable and often delayed. The reward is nerve that owes nothing to bravado.
