Saturn in Sagittarius

Sagittarius is mutable fire ruled by Jupiter. Saturn here takes belief seriously: these people want a philosophy that survives scrutiny and are uneasy with a received answer. Study is disciplined, and what they finally hold they hold for good. The cost is doubt, since faith gets examined until very little of it is left, and a rigid morality can take the place of the open one the sign would prefer. Travel and higher study often arrive later than planned and matter more for it.
