Uranus in Aquarius

Aquarius is fixed air, ruled traditionally by Saturn and in modern astrology by Uranus, so the planet is at home here in the modern scheme. Its seven-year passage marks a generation given to invention, networks and collective projects, comfortable with technology and impatient with hierarchy. Individual eccentricity is treated as ordinary. The cost is coldness, since a system can come to matter more than the people inside it, and the fixed quality makes the new orthodoxy as rigid as the one it replaced.
