Uranus in Virgo

Virgo is mutable earth ruled by Mercury, and Uranus takes about seven years to cross it, so the signature is generational. The disruption lands on work, health and technique: new tools, new systems and new definitions of what a job is. These people are analytical about change and good at making a strange idea practical. The cost is a nervous, critical edge, along with a habit of dismantling a working routine to find out whether a better one exists.
