Chiron

Chiron is a comet between Saturn and Uranus, often called "the wounded healer." It represents the deepest wound and the greatest gift for healing, both for one's own wounds and for helping others heal theirs. Chiron's placement shows where deep pain or inadequacy has been felt, and paradoxically, where hard-won wisdom and healing power live. Chiron asks for the wound to become wisdom and the suffering to become service. It's a gentler influence than Pluto but equally transformative: the healing it describes comes through acceptance and integration of what's been broken, not its elimination. When retrograde, Chiron suggests that the wound and the healing are deeply internalized. The pain may be worked on privately, and the gift for helping others grows from very personal, internal understanding rather than external training or credential.
