Mercury conjunct Neptune

Neptune dissolves Mercury's outlines, producing a mind that works in images rather than in propositions. These people are poetic, musically literate, and able to sense the shape of a situation long before they can state it. Fiction, film and therapy all suit them. The cost is accuracy. Details drift, memory reconstructs rather than retrieves, and the same permeability that makes them receptive makes them easy to mislead. Deliberate vagueness can become a habit, since a statement never quite made is never quite wrong. Writing things down is a survival skill here.
