Mercury conjunct Pluto

Pluto on Mercury gives a mind that goes to the bottom of things. These people investigate rather than inquire, notice what was left out of a sentence, and are drawn to psychology, research, forensics and anything with a hidden layer. Speech carries weight and is sometimes used to control. The cost is obsession: a question that will not let go, an inability to leave a subject or a slight alone, and secrecy that becomes reflexive. Words here are understood as instruments of power, which is accurate and occasionally dangerous.
