Neptune conjunct Pluto

Neptune and Pluto move so slowly that their conjunction recurs roughly every four hundred ninety years, the last in the eighteen nineties, so almost nobody now living carries it. The pairing is included for completeness and for historical charts. It combines dissolution with compulsive renewal, describing an era in which a collective worldview breaks down and something is forced up from underneath. In an individual chart it would be read entirely through houses and through any personal planet involved, and never as a description of temperament on its own.
