Chiron in the 1st house

Chiron is a small body orbiting between Saturn and Uranus, read as an old wound and the skill that grows from living with it. In the 1st house the sore place is the self: appearance, presence, the right to take up room. These people often feel visibly wrong in some way they cannot name, whatever anyone else actually sees. What develops is a rare ease with other people's self-consciousness. The difficulty is believing the acceptance when it is offered.
