Mars in the 7th house

The 7th house is partnership, marriage and the open opponent. Mars here meets people head on. Partners are often assertive, competitive or fiercely independent, and the relationship carries energy whether that shows as passion or as argument. Negotiation, advocacy and litigation suit them. The difficulty is provoking the fight and then blaming the partner for having it, and choosing people whose force has to be matched rather than simply lived with.
