Mars

Mars is the planet of action, passion, and raw drive. It's the engine, the will to do, and how a person asserts themselves in the world. Mars shows what someone fights for, how they handle conflict, their sexual expression, and where they direct their energy and ambition. It describes courage (or recklessness), competitive spirit, and the kinds of activities that make a person feel alive. Mars is pure energy, directed toward goals, desires, or sometimes just burning off steam. When retrograde, Mars suggests a more internal drive: energy is directed inward, with a preference for thinking an action through before taking it, or expressing desire more subtly. Retrograde Mars often means the passion is less immediately visible but can be quite powerful once awakened.
