Mars in the 9th house

The 9th house rules long travel, higher study, belief and law. Mars here fights for what it believes. Convictions are held strongly and argued in public, and these people often travel roughly, study something demanding or take up a cause. Sport, law and campaigning are common outlets. The difficulty is certainty with force behind it: a belief defended this hard is rarely revised, and the argument can end up mattering more than whatever it was about.
