Saturn in the 11th house

The 11th house covers friends, groups and long-range hopes. Saturn here keeps few friends and keeps them long. Friendships often run older, more formal or more useful than warm, and these people usually end up the responsible one in any group: the treasurer, the chair, the one who does the work. The cost is a distance from the crowd that is only partly chosen, and hopes trimmed down early to whatever seemed realistic at the time.
