Mars in Aquarius

Mars in Aquarius
Mars in Aquarius acts on principle, and resists being told how.
Aquarius is fixed air, ruled traditionally by Saturn and in modern astrology by Uranus. Mars here fights for a cause, a group or an idea rather than for personal advantage, and the method chosen is usually unorthodox. These people work in bursts of invention and cannot be pushed at all. Anger is cool and argued rather than shouted. The cost is contrariness, since opposition becomes automatic, and the fixed quality keeps them dug into a position long after the situation has changed.
