Mars in Capricorn

Capricorn is cardinal earth ruled by Saturn, and Mars is exalted here, its most disciplined placement. Effort is controlled, planned and aimed at an outcome that may be years away. These people work hard without needing to be watched and are respected for what they finish. Anger is cold rather than hot, and it shows up as cooperation withdrawn. The cost is grimness: rest feels like failure, ambition crowds out the rest of a life, and a slower colleague is judged harshly.
