Mars in Taurus

Taurus is fixed earth ruled by Venus, and Mars is in its detriment here: the sign wants to hold where Mars wants to move. Effort is slow to begin and very hard to interrupt, which makes these people formidable over a long job and reluctant at short notice. They work for results they can see and keep going after everyone else has quit. Anger builds quietly for a long time and then arrives all at once. The cost is stubbornness, and a refusal to change tactics once committed.
