North Node in Leo

The north node is a calculated point read as the direction of growth, with the south node opposite showing familiar ground. In Leo, fixed fire ruled by the Sun, growth means stepping forward as an individual: making something, taking the credit for it and letting warmth show. The pull back is toward Aquarius, where belonging to a group, staying objective and speaking for a principle feel safer than standing alone. Personal risk, not collective agreement, is what moves this placement.
