North Node in Scorpio

The north node is a calculated point describing the direction of growth, with the south node opposite it describing habit. In Scorpio, fixed water ruled traditionally by Mars and in modern astrology by Pluto, growth comes through depth: real intimacy, resources held in common and a willingness to let a finished thing end. The pull back is toward Taurus, where comfort, possession and doing it the same way again feel safe. The cost of the familiar route is a life that stays pleasant and shallow.
