North Node in Taurus

The north node is a calculated point rather than a body, marking the direction of growth, while the south node opposite it marks what is already familiar. In Taurus, fixed earth ruled by Venus, growth is toward steadiness: building something of one's own, learning what is genuinely valued and tolerating a slower and simpler pace. The pull back is toward Scorpio, where intensity, crisis and other people's resources are the well-worn ground. Progress here looks unglamorous and feels like relief.
