Power Window
A stretch of time when a transiting planet is making a particularly significant connection to the natal chart, a period worth paying extra attention to.
Natal Placement
Where a planet sat in the chart at the moment of birth: the fixed reference point every transit is measured against.
Solar Arc Direction
A predictive technique that moves every natal point forward by the same daily arc the Sun travels, roughly one degree per year of life, to time major life themes.
Lunar Return
A chart cast for the moment the Moon returns to its natal degree, repeating roughly every 27-28 days, read as a preview of the emotional tone for that stretch.
Secondary Progression
A symbolic timing technique that advances the birth chart by one day for each year of life: a slower, more internal counterpart to Solar Arc Direction.
Firdaria
A traditional Persian/Hellenistic timing technique that divides life into a fixed sequence of planetary periods, sect-aware and independent of the exact birth degree.
Void of Course
The stretch after the Moon makes its last major aspect in a sign but before it enters the next one, traditionally read as a lull, not a good window to start something new.
