This frame depends on where you were born, not just when
A standard chart uses ecliptic longitude, which gives the same number for a planet no matter where on Earth you were born. Azimuth and altitude are different: they describe the sky as seen from your specific birth location, so the same moment in time produces different azimuth and altitude values in different places.
There are no house placements in this frame
House systems are built from the ecliptic and the horizon at your birth location together, and that math does not carry over into a pure azimuth/altitude view, so no houses are shown here. If you need house placements, your standard birth chart is the place to look; this tool answers a different question.
Reading compass direction and height together
Azimuth runs 0 to 360 degrees, with 0 as due north, 90 as east, 180 as south, and 270 as west. Altitude is height above the horizon in degrees; a positive value means the planet was above the horizon and visible in principle, a negative value means it was below the horizon at that moment.
Why look at the sky this way at all
This view is useful for horizon-based techniques, parans (planets rising, setting, or culminating at the same moment), and questions about which planets were actually above the horizon at birth, independent of their zodiac position.

How is azimuth different from a normal chart position?
A normal chart plots ecliptic longitude, the same value anywhere on Earth for a given birth moment. Azimuth and altitude describe the actual sky above your specific birth location, so they depend on where you were born as well as when.
Why is there no house information here?
House systems are calculated from the ecliptic and horizon together, and that calculation has no equivalent in a pure azimuth/altitude frame, so houses are left out of this view rather than shown incorrectly.
