Venus Sequence
Definition
The second of the three sequences in a Gene Keys profile, following the Activation Sequence: the relationship layer, describing the core pattern someone brings into intimacy and close connection.
What it means
The Venus Sequence draws on four spheres, Attraction, IQ, EQ, and SQ, each computed from a different planetary position (Venus and Mercury, both conscious and unconscious) in the same birth data the Activation Sequence uses. Where the Activation Sequence describes identity and life direction, the Venus Sequence narrows in on relational patterning: what draws people together, how they communicate, and the emotional and instinctive undercurrents beneath that connection.
How it shows up in a chart
The Attraction sphere is generally treated as the most central of the four, the emotional signature at the heart of how someone draws people and circumstances toward them. The other three spheres (IQ, EQ, SQ) add communication style, emotional conditioning, and body-level instinct as supporting layers around that central theme.
A worked example
