North Node in the 11th house

The north node marks growth rather than a fixed trait. In the 11th house it points toward the collective: friends, groups, causes and hopes larger than a personal ambition. Individual creative work and personal recognition usually come more easily to these people. The development is in contributing to something that will not carry their name, and in tolerating the compromises of a group that moves slower than they would move alone.
